Professional Background
Cora Reuter Looker, is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has over 14 years of professional experience in the field of counseling. Passionate about helping others, Cora offers services to members of the LGBTQ+ community, adults, couples, and adolescents.
Cora has spent the past eight years specializing in the impacts of trauma on one's overall health. Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which focuses on one's ability to process difficult events, Cora offers treatment options for those suffering from depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and various personality disorders. Cora is also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, which focuses on skills acquisition for those struggling with emotion regulation. This form of treatment is offered in both the individual and group setting.
Personal Background & Professional Perspective
Cora holds a special interest and experience working with first responders, including: police, fire, EMS, nursing, social work, correctional, and other ancillary personal. Cora believes processing the effects of the work environment these individuals experience to be critical in achieving and maintaining wellness.

Aside from her work in counseling, Cora enjoys teaching as an Adjunct Instructor in the field of psychology for the Wisconsin Technical College System and spending time with her family. Cora met and quickly became friends with Nichole while attending graduate school in Menomonie, WI. The two of them have been working together since 2009 and are thrilled to be providing services in the community!
